Fall California Wedding at Romantic Ranch Venue

Taryn and Seth's fall California wedding at this romantic ranch venue was to die for. I can’t wait to finally share the photos with you all in this blog post!

The Ranch Venue

Believe it or not, Taryn and Seth’s wedding wasn’t held at an actual, formal ranch wedding venue. They actually created their wedding venue on a family member’s property - amazing, right? Their wedding was hosted along the Kings River in Reedley, CA on a fall day. And the weather was just about right for a fall wedding - we got some sunshine throughout the day paired with some darker clouds especially during the ceremony. The sun eventually came out again right at the perfect time, for our sunset portraits! It was honestly a great mix of fall weather, and we were lucky we didn’t get rained on. Although I know these two would’ve made the best out of it anyway!

The Highlights

The day was so special for many reasons, the first one being that it was held on family property. I always love when couples are able to celebrate their big day on somebody’s land that loves them, and so that it can take place in a familiar, comfortable environment.

Taryn and Seth also made the special decision to exchange their vows in private, before the actual ceremony. I’m always excited when couples do this because they get that time to focus on each other in a more intimate setting. Plus, it’s just a huge honor to witness. They did their first look in a gorgeous spot of greenery on the ranch, and then read their handwritten vows to one another.

The Looks

Taryn wore a stunning bohemian, lace dress from Rue de Seine Bridal, one of my all-time favorite bridal gown designers. Her dress featured uniquely-shaped patterns across the whole gown, and she accessorized it with a beautiful bow on the back! There are so many ways to accessorize your wedding gown (veils, bows, extra sleeves, etc.), and I love that Taryn took advantage of that. Seth wore a classic charcoal gray suit that paired perfectly with Taylor’s simple yet unique dress!

Seth & Taryn, your love is so sweet and kind and I love that I have gotten to witness it this past year.
